Follow your dreams with one of our exciting language programs!
Time flies when you are having fun…
In order to really get to know a new country and culture, you need to spend a lot of time there. The longer you spend, the more opportunities you will have to really immerse yourself in the culture, have some amazing experiences and, of course, to really improve your language skills. A gap year gives you the freedom and opportunities to have an experience of a lifetime! Let our partner schools’ programs inspire you and help you to find your perfect combination of language lessons and cultural immersion.
Schools with volunteering programs
During volunteer work, you can put your language skills into practice and give back to the country in which you are staying. Volunteering projects may include working with local people, animals, the environment or for a cultural organization. Gain a unique insight into the country and get involved in a local initiative.
Schools with au pair programs
During an au pair placement, you will live with a host family and be completely integrated into their everyday routine as you will be looking after their children. This means that you will not only be able to practice your language skills every day, you will also see close hand what daily life is like for inhabitants of the country. Become part of a family and live like a local in your dream destination!
Schools with internship programs
Boost your CV with work experience abroad in a foreign language! Improve your language skills and use them in a professional environment. An internship abroad will both enable you to learn new things about your industry of choice but will also help you to master the appropriate vocabulary for this field. Use your work experience abroad to impress recruiters across the international labor market.
Schools with paid work programs
Doing some paid work whilst you are abroad will enable you to earn a small amount of pocket money and find out more about the local job market. Our partner schools offer paid work opportunities in tourism, hospitality and for seasonal work such as fruit picking and farming. Make new contacts and earn some money to cover part of your travel expenses.
Schols with long-term language courses
A long-term language course abroad consists of a minimum of 24 weeks of classes. The longer the course, the lower the weekly price so you will be able to take advantage of a long-term discount! By studying for a long period of time, you will be able to hugely improve your language skills. In some schools, you will even have the option of combining standard lessons with exam preparation classes at no extra cost. Your progress will be regularly evaluated by your teacher so that the methods can be adapted to suit your needs and to ensure that your long-term language goals are met.
